Sales Assistant Meeting & Events (80–100%)

Do you love direct contact with customers and know how to build trust with a confident, professional appearance? As the first point of contact for our customers, you represent our location with a great deal of sensitivity, quality awareness and the right customer language. Do you have an eye for detail, a feel for people and the ambition to accompany every enquiry and every event at the highest level? The position is designed for 80-100% and, if suitable, offers the opportunity to develop professionally and gradually take on more responsibility in the sales & event area.

 

Your main tasks:

  • Sales & Customer Contact: First point of contact for customers from the enquiry to the execution. Location inspections and consulting
  • Event Support: Independent support of meetings & events on site including personal customer accompaniment
  • Sales Support: Close support and assistance for the Sales Manager in day-to-day business, in particular with proposal preparation, appointment organization, customer correspondence as well as the preparation and follow-up of meetings & events
  • Organization: Preparation, coordination and follow-up of events in close cooperation with internal teams
  • Administration: Creation of offers, contracts, confirmations as well as maintenance of the booking system
  • Interface function: Coordination between customers, sales, operations and external partners
  • Representation: Participation in trade fairs, customer events and industry occasions

 

What you bring with you:

  • Completed training in the gastronomic or event-related field, a great advantage with a degree from a hotel management school or a degree in event management
  • Experience in the field of event management, event sales or banqueting is mandatory
  • Business fluent knowledge of German and English
  • High quality standards, very good presentation skills as well as strong communication and customer orientation
  • Organizational skills for the parallel processing of various projects
  • Mastery of the common MS Office palette and, ideally, a banquet professional
  • Joy in planning events and fulfilling wishes
