Location & History

When the NZZ Group announced the closure of its printing plant in 2015, it marked the end of an era. The NZZ was printed here for 25 years - a place full of history, work and passion. Following the acquisition of the site by Swiss Prime Site, the vision was to establish the campus as a multifunctional center for knowledge transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship. The successful interim use with the pop-up restaurant "Only Temporary" in the former printing hall laid the foundation for JED Events.

Located right on the outskirts of Zurich and with excellent transport links, the JED Campus combines historic industrial architecture with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The three buildings - affectionately named after the fictional namesakes Jake, Eve and Didi - stand for entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and courage. Join, Explore, Dare - that is our motto. This is where ideas are spun, knowledge is shared and bold projects are implemented.

With JED Events, we consistently put this motto into practice. Since 2021, we have been offering 2,500 m² of event space that is as versatile as your ideas. Whether for a large conference, a cozy company party or a private event - our rooms adapt to you. State-of-the-art technology, first-class in-house catering and a dedicated team ensure that everything runs smoothly.
